Michael Wayne Wilcox

Michael Wayne Wilcox of Olympia, Washington passed away January 4, 2021 at the age of 70. Michael (Mike) was born September 17, 1950 in Centralia, Washington to Wayne and Angeline (Angie) Wilcox. He graduated from North Thurston High School in Lacey, Washington in 1968. After enlisting in the Air Force in 1969, he was stationed in Thailand, Germany, Denver and New Mexico, where he met his wife of 49 years, Martha Jean Baldonado. They were married on December 18, 1971 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Mike and Martha moved to Olympia, Washington in 1973. Mike worked for the Washington Natural Gas Company/PSE for 43 years before retiring in 2016. Mike had many passions in his life, among them were bowling, motorcycles, photography, weight lifting, drag racing, classic cars, attending concerts, tattoos and going to the movie theater. Mike and Martha loved to take road trips, traveling around the country throughout their lives and to many Washington State Parks. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Hollie Klinck (Joe); and sister Lynne. He is preceded in death by father, Wayne; Mother, Angie; sister, Sharon Knittle; son, Christopher.
