Nancy Capri Lynn Reid

Born Nancy Capri-Lynn Barsamian on February 10, 1956 to Marilyn and Richard Barsamian of Minneapolis Minnesota. She graduated from Edina West High School in 1974. Following her graduation she enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1977 to 1983 as a medical assistant. During that time she was awarded several awards; Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and Sharp Shooter Qualification Badge.

Nancy joined her beloved husband, Ralph Reid Sr. in Holy Matrimony on July 30, 1983 in Olympia Washington. Nancy furthered her education and would graduate from South Puget Sound Community College in 1990 with her Associate in Technical Arts medical assisting. After 10 years in the medical field she would retire from her career as a medical office assistant and join the Department of Licensing where she would retire after 20 years.

She was hospitalized on January 24, 2025 and departed this life on March 23, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn and Richard. She leaves behind a brother Richard and sister Barbara, three daughters, Michelle, Gabrielle and Andrea and one son Ralph Reid Jr. Grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Elias. Great Grandchildren, Legend, Adore, and Levi. Nephews Dustin, Trevor and Niece Jenny, Great Niece Ivy and Maybellene along with a host of other family and friends.

Throughout her life, she made sure everyone around her had what they needed be it a hot meal, a ride somewhere, or a warm place to sleep. She took care of others. That’s just what she did and she asked for nothing in return and that love that she showed us all these years will be with us always and forever.
