I never spoke to Nan, save a comment on a Facebook post helping her identify a camp counselor uniform from the 1930's, but it is difficult to quantify the effect she's had on my life. Four years ago, I found her website chronicling Girl Scout Memorabilia and it ignited a long dormant passion for Girl Scouting. Not only did I start collecting Girl Scout Memorabilia, but I got involved with my local Girl Scouts, eventually becoming a Brownie Leader. I'm not sure what my life would look like if I hadn't found her website but it's certainly better for having found it. 

I have consulted the Vintage Girl Scout Museum web site for years. I am particularly interested in the Book novels section. Every time I  would return it seems there were new titles listed. Nancy was a priceless Girl Scout contributor to its history. I was fascinated by the breadth and comprehensiveness of the site. Nancy will live on in the love of her Girl Scout friends.

We'd never met in person, but I had the pleasure of briefly corresponding with Nan via email in regards to her wonderful website,  Vintagegirlscout.com.  I believe my contribution was the last update made to her site before her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time. And a huge thanks to Nan for everything she gave to the girl scouting community. Rest in peace ❤

Nancy White was active in Girl Scouting, and she became an expert on Girl Scout memorable.  She shared that expert knowledge with all who were interested through her online museum.  Thousands of memorabilia collectors have utilized her well-researched pages, and her online museum has been archived so that it can continue to serve for a long time to come.  Thank you, Nancy!
