October 24, 1944February 4, 2020

Patricia M. ”Pattie” Weiks, 75, passed away on February 4th, 2020 in Olympia, Washington after a long, courageous battle with her health. She was born in Seattle, Washington on October 24, 1944.

Pattie graduated from Olympia High School in 1962. That is where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Arthur Weiks. Together they had four children; Jeff (Wendi) Weiks, Jon (Andi) Weiks, Kelly (Jay) Haynie, Kim (Ross) Read. She was a proud grandmother of nine: Kaila, McKenna, Colton, Brayden, Jordan, Taryn, Spenser, Isabel, and Samantha.

Pattie was a homemaker until her kids were in school, at which point she began working in the grocery business. In 1984 Pattie and Art opened Frontier Foods, which they owned and operated until retirement in 2007.

A private graveside service is being held for the family.

Celebrate Pattie’s life by enjoying the view of Mt. Rainier, as she did.

To Art and Family,

Deepest condolences to you and your family. Pattie was a wonderful part of my younger days. I can still remember her laugh - and how infectious it was. Many fun times were had with 'Red' and Pattie sitting around the kitchen table being taught how to play pinochle. Let the memories of Pattie provide you with comfort.

Patti was so sweet/nice. I haven't seen her much since we all married and had families. There are so many memories, just one isn't enough. If you knew Patti, you know what I mean. My deepest sympathy to Art and their children as well as the rest of their family and friends.
