Tumwater, Washington - Paul Clifford Deranleau, born May 23, 1937, in Seattle, Washington. Passed away on June 3, 2021, at his home in Tumwater, Washington. Carpenter, shipwright, artist; sailor, back-packer, banjo-player, nature lover, conservationist; Son, Brother, Dad, Granddad, Uncle, friend. Survived by daughters Michele Deranleau (Justin Whitehead) and Jeanie Kim (Stan Kim); son Greg Deranleau (Tammy Deranleau); grandchildren Jenna Kim, Lucas Lee-Thomas, Ethan Kim, Camille Deranleau; nephews Ken Deranleau and Marc Deranleau; niece Susan Deranleau (Samu Fuimaono); grand nephews Arthur Deranleau and David Fuimaono; grand nieces Serena Deranleau and Leilani Fuimaono; and countless friends. Paul was preceded in death by his brother David Arthur Deranleau. The family would also like to recognize the important role that Carolyn Goudey, his ex-wife and friend, played in his life, as well as the longtime friendships of Bob Powell and Gary Engbrecht. A service will be held to celebrate the life of Paul Deranleau on Friday, June 18 at 10 am at Mills & Mills funeral home. Friends of Paul are welcome.
