I was in the 44th Trooper Cadet Class No one wanted to be standing in Sergeant Bair's office. The day before graduation another cadet and I were shining our leather when Bob strolled down the hallway in the dorm and came into our room. He sat down and talked with us at some length. He was a good guy and only wanted the best for his department and that included graduating the best people. I worked for him twice more. Always respected his leadership and was honored to serve with him. I would see him at various retired gatherings and shake his hand. I will miss that. Jim Kenoyer

Bob was an instructor at WSP Academy when I went thru. He worn a mean hat and was feared. Come to find out that was his job. Ended up respecting and enjoyed being around him after retirement. Rest in peace my friend and fellow trooper

I love you grandpa. Some of my best childhood memories are of us vacationing together. Summer breaks at the ocean and camping. Almost every Christmas together since I was a baby. I am so glad my kids were able to share memories with you as well. I still can't believe you are gone. We miss you so much. Until we meet again, rest in paradise!

I loved my Uncle Bob. Always a man of respect. When mom, his sis, passed, so many WSP came to her funeral in respect of him. Such gratitude. I will miss him greatly. RIP Uncle Bob. Give my mama a kiss for me. My love to Aunt Alice and Bair cousins David, Glen, Denise and Sherri.❤️
