He was employed as a driver for several fuel oil companies, retiring on 1996. During those years, he was also a general contractor.
Bob was a member of Mountain View Church of the Nazarene and a charter member of the Olympia Light Riders Motorcycle Association where every Friday night for 20 years as part of this group, he led a street ministry in downtown Olympia.
For 17 years Bob was a member of the Black Lake Fire Department serving in all positions including Chief and Commissioner.
Motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, camping, gold panning, reading and studying western history, and traveling were Bob’s hobbies. As part of the Work and Witness team for the Nazarene Church, he traveled to Martinique, Australia and Venezuela, Mexico.
Bob leaves his wife of 62 years Jean (Snyder) Mack; sons Michael (Kim) Gregory, Richard (Lisa) Mack, daughter, Lori (Bob) Johnson, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Doug and Keith Mack.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Mack; brothers, Gary and David Mack, and two infant sons; Randall and Ryan.
