

Roger W. Saeger was born on April 27th 1934 and passed away on February 23,2012. He was the son of Cleo and Mildred (Goudy) Saeger. He attended Tumwater grade school, graduated from Olympia High School, attended St. Martin's College and the University of Washington.
When he reached fourteen, he went to work at Safeway. When he turned twenty-two he began work for Olympia Brewery and worked there for thirty nine years. The last seven years before retirement he worked for Widmer Brothers Brewing in Portland.
During this time he was active in the Masonic Lodge and was Master of Olympia #1 and Mt. Hood #18. He was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was Worthy Patron of Olympia #36 and Trinity #215.
Roger is survived by his wife Carol and two daughters from a previous marriage; Diana (Bob) Berglund of Olympia, two grandchildren Ashley and Michael and Lisa (Randy) Donohoe of Aberdeen, granddaughter Kaitlin. He is also survived by his brother Fred Saeger and wife Sandra.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jan Saeger. Private interment will be handled by Mills & Mills.
