

Ronald Seldon Moore, 84, of McLeary, Washington, peacefully passed away September 20, 2012. He was born and raised in Washington on June 24, 1928, to Ethel G. and Willis C. Moore and had 3 brothers. The love of his life was his wife Margaret Louise Spicer who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his 3 children and their spouses: Sharon L. Moore Siinklair (Paul), Ronald G. Moore (Patti) and Christiann G. Moore (Braxton Carter) and by one brother and sister-in-law, Larry M. Moore (Mary) and two surviving sisters-in-laws married to his brothers Art and Jack whom preceded him in death. Also 5 grandchildren: Carl James, Ronald, Craig, Darlene and Jennifer Lea and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ron was an avid hunter, gun collector and fisherman and enjoyed many hobbies outside. He was an owner/operator of a logging truck for many years and was proud to be able to use his experience as a Washington State Patrol enforcement officer for the Department of Transportation.
He explored many hobbies such as gardening, jewelry making, travelling, furniture refinishing, and was considered an expert at gun re-loading, engine repair, hunting and story-telling.
He will be deeply missed by his remaining family members.
A family and friends pot luck will be held in memory of Ron on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at a private residence, starting at 1:00 pm in the afternoon.
