Ruby Mae Williams was born on October 13, 1933 to Alfred and Roberta Zweimiller in Kansas City, Missouri and went to meet her Savior, Jesus, on July 7, 2014, in Olympia, Washington while surrounded by her family.
Ruby married James Kent Williams on December 24, 1949. They had five sons, David, Gary, James Kent, Jr., Steven, and Dennis. She and Kent lived for many years in the San Joaquin Valley in California before finally settling in Olympia, Washington where they lived for 45 years.
Ruby loved to be with people and especially enjoyed spending time with her large extended family. She always had a giggle and a huge pitcher of iced tea for anyone that stopped by. Her home welcomed you with either the fresh cut flowers from her or a friends yard or the beautiful Christmas decorations that were so exciting to both her and the grandchildren. The family has memories of camping, barbecues, and conversation to last a lifetime. She and Kent dreamed for years of a trip to Hawaii and their sons made it possible for their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
Ruby is survived by four sons, David with his wife,Lois, Gary, Steven, and Dennis with his wife, Vonda, all of Olympia, and one sister, Darlene Doyle, of Seattle, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She has joined her husband, son (James Kent, Jr.), parents, and twin sister, Ruth Doyle, in the presence of the Lord in her eternal home.
