A message from Renee
Growing up as a brother and sister, we had our fights. Real fist fights. But when we got older we were good buddies.
Double dated and we were always hanging out together with his friends and mine.
In good times and bad we were there for each other!
Ryan loved his family very much. As his sons grew, he enjoyed being involved in their activities. His grandson Teddy was the highlight of his life. He was so proud of him and lit up when talking about him. He especially enjoyed Teddy reading books to him, of course, Teddy's way
He loved going to Disneyland which he did many times with his sons.
He and I looked forward to the Little League World Series every August. Since we were from North Dakota, we always hoped that a team from North Dakota would win.
Ryan's Corvette was his pride and joy. Giving up driving because of his sight was very hard for him.
One of our favorite things to do together was going out to lunch and played pull tabs at various restaurants. Lost more than we won but always had a good time. We knew we would do better next time!
He spent many hours sitting in his recliner watching TV. The game show channel and movies were the things he watched with his cat Fred sitting next to him.
He called me Suz. It was a nickname that our dad gave me. I will miss that.
Sadly through his life he had many medical problems and finally his suffering is over.
So now, Ryan, I will say so long, never goodbye! You will always be in my heart.
Love your
Suz
