Shannon Louise Fosdick of Olympia, Washington passed away at her home on July 17th, 2025. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents Robert Downing Sr. and Nina Jean Edmonds Downing. She was the older sister to her siblings Robert Downing Jr. and Shelley Downing-Likely. When Shannon was two years old, Robert was enlisted in the armed forces and stations in Costa Rica. It was there that Shannon discovered her love of mangos.
The family moved to Washington State and Shannon graduated from Mossyrock High School in 1979 and later in life became the mother to Bryan Fosdick, Samantha Fosdick, and Savannah Fosdick.
In her own time, Shannon enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, going to the ocean, riding horses, and WWE. When she was in school, she was also a member of 4-H. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Downing Sr, and her son Bryan Fosdick.
Shannon is survived by her mother Nina Downing, Shelley Downing-Likely, brother Robert Downing Jr., and daughters Samantha and Savannah Fosdick.
