

Tammy Rae McElroy (née Carlson-Daley) passed away, peacefully, with her mother by her side, on September 29, 2019 in Shelton, WA, at the age of 48. She was born January 4, 1971 in Hope, British Columbia, Canada. Her family moved back to Olympia, WA in 1974 where Tammy was raised and spent her life. Tammy was a 1989 graduate from Capital High School, Olympia. During her high school years she was active in Track & Field, and a flutist in the marching band. Tammy began her career at Westside Physical Therapy in Olympia, and as the company transitioned to HealthSouth, she managed over a dozen physical therapy clinics all over Western Washington. She married Mark J. McElroy in 1992, and in 1999 they were overjoyed to welcome their beautiful daughter, Maddelin Christine into their lives. Tammy was a devoted and loving mother, and her daughter was the true love and joy of her life. She enjoyed traveling, snow skiing, cooking, baking, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Tammy is survived by her daughter Maddelin McElroy; her parents, William (Tom) & Lora Lee Daley; sister Tracey Brewer (Mark); brother Todd Daley (Jessica); sister Brandi Wornson; niece Jacinda Brewer; nephews Scott Brewer, Riley Proffitt, Branden Proffitt, David Brewer, and Gage Wornson.
