Tom was a proud graduate of Tenino High School, Class of 1985, and went on to earn his associate degree from Centralia College between 1985 and 1987. He dedicated nearly four decades of his life to his career as a construction manager and estimator with Foundation Specialists LLC, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Tom had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and simple joys. He loved hunting and fishing, and each hunting season was something he eagerly anticipated, preparing for it well in advance each year. He especially cherished the time spent scouting and exploring with his grandson during the off-season. Tom also had a passion for travel and adventure, always excited to see new places. On a recent trip back from his annual vacation in Destin, he made a special point to visit the Grand Canyon. He was delighted by his discovery of Laughlin, Nevada, which he fondly described as “a mini Vegas with water taxis.”
When he wasn’t traveling, Tom enjoyed science fiction and fantasy books, along with movies and television shows. Time spent with family was at the heart of his life. He never missed a birthday, graduation, or holiday, and one of his favorite traditions was gathering everyone together for outings to see the latest Star Wars, DC, or Marvel films. He also enjoyed quieter moments, like relaxing by the beach, often found napping under an umbrella.
In his younger years, Tom served his community as a volunteer firefighter from 1981 to 1988, a role that reflected his willingness to help others.
Tom is survived by his loving partner, Sharon Teodosio; sister, Kendra Arrington; brother-in-law, Evan Arrington; niece, Brynn Arrington; stepchildren, Brian Teodosio, Stacy Mejia and Sara Teodosio, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Falicia Teodosio, Amorie Rogers, Isaiah Rogers, Natalia Rogers and Kira Rodriguez. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family, quiet strength and a life well lived.
Tom will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of family traditions and the joy he found in both adventure and simple moments.
