When a person leaves their loved ones behind, it is a mark of their love and joy by the memories that stay, and Timothy was one that left a feeling of pride, compassion and true wonder with those he loved and cherished. Ever the kindly neighbor and friend, Tim would invite others over to his home while blasting his beloved Toby Keith and classic rock music, and cooking up a delicious BBQ on his beloved Big Green Egg grill. A chef of the outdoors kind, he loved to bring others into the fold, and often shared food and goods with those less fortunate, displaying his love for all.
Timothy was never alone. His family was always by his side, and his son proudly carries on the family business that they started together. In fact, when working, you could hear them singing along to country music, reminiscing about the extended family back in Wisconsin where he loved to visit, and looking for the next person, or even stranger, to buy lunch or dinner for.
A true outdoorsman, Timothy was a knowledgeable and passionate firearm owner and educator, as he believed in the 2nd amendment and his pride in the Constitution, always willing to have an open and kind discussion about his views on the subject. His mother, step-father and son were the center of his universe, and he loved to put on the old country music of days long gone, listening to the stories in the lyrics of the old west, and the lost loves carried on the melodies.
As he'd set up a bonfire on his property, come rain or shine, Tim could be seen pacing around his property with his best friend, a sweet black kitten, that never left his side. You may think Tim a rough outdoorsman, which he was, but his heart was soft and his kindness eternal. Above all else, he loved his family. His smiles, warm hugs, and even a good joke or two, would leave you in a better place than you were before. He would give you the shirt off his back, and would focus all of his time on you, taking time out of his day.
Timothy Lloyd Schulte passed at the age of 57. He leaves behind his son Michael, his sister Lisa, his step-sister Karrie, his mother Dorie, and his step-father Dick. He is truly missed, but his memory lives on... and the Big Green Egg BBQ still burns, inviting friends, family and strangers to join in a meal, and to bask in the light that Tim has left us.
