Twila Joyce Lougheed was born on August 28, 1924 to Howard and Geraldine Lougheed in Littlerock, Washington. She peacefully passed away June 6, 2015 in Olympia, Washington at the age of 90. She was the third of four children: Bernadine, Wanda, Twila, and Howard Jr., known as Sonny. Twila was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, two husbands, and her daughter, Susie.
She married Edwin Booker in 1946 in Washington. They had two children: Susie, who passed away in 1997 and Randy who lives in North Salt Lake, Utah. They moved to San Diego in 1958 and Ed died in February of 1969. Twila married Donald Brewer later in 1969 in San Diego. He had six children: Mike (Bellingham), Don Jr. (Olympia), Bill (Yelm), Cathy (Olympia), Patty (Snohomish), and Charlene (Camano Island). The Booker/Brewer clan includes 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. Twila and Don lived in San Diego and Redding, California and spent the majority of their 46 years of marriage in Olympia. They faithfully attended the Olympia Lacey Church of God and genuinely lived a Christ-centered life. Don passed away in November 2014.
Twila was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and an accomplished homemaker. She was known for her kind heart and her love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
