

Polly was born to William L. and Creasy (Stigall) Williams on November 18th, 1941 in Burt TWP, Alger County, Michigan. The family moved to South Bend in 1952 where Polly attended South Bend Elementary and South Bend High School.
Polly became the bride of Albert R. Hamlin in 1960. They later divorced. While married to Albert Hamlin, he and Polly became the proud parents of four children. Tony (Michelle) Hamlin of Yukon, OK, Timmy Hamlin of South Bend, Billie Jo (Gerry) Michell, Raymond and Kimberly (Tim) McGee, South Bend. They have been blessed with 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
While working at Valley Lanes in Beaverton, OR, Polly met and fell in love with the true love of her life, Leonard Davis. Leonard and Polly were married on July 2nd, 1994 in Reno, NV. They made their home in Gaston, OR. Upon marrying Leonard, Polly gained three additional daughters, Debbie (Mike) Knight, Becky (Mike) Hudson, and Eva Zurcher, along with 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
In the year 2000, Polly and Leonard moved to South Bend where they both worked at The Country Bowl for several years. Leonard survives at the family home in South Bend.
Polly is survived by one sister, Linda (Cecil) Gunter, six brothers, William L Williams Jr. (Rosita), Dale (Connie) Williams, Larry (Jerry) Williams, David Williams and his fiancé Terri Karnas, Clarence (Toni) Williams, and Delmar (Susie) Williams. Also many wonderful cousins whom she loved and cherished, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, oldest brother; Jessie Jo, Albert Hamlin, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Polly enjoyed fishing, being in the woods, camping, baking, cooking, gardening, quilting, canning, going to the casino, scratch tickets, shopping at the Goodwill, but most of all she loved being a Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Arrangements are in the care of Mills & Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Tumwater, Washington.
