Virginia “Ginny” Elaine (Reynolds) Shultz died peacefully at Hawthorn House in Tumwater, Washington on May 31, 2019. She was born in Bucoda on March 5, 1929, to George and Rosa Reynolds. A life-long Tenino resident, Ginny is best remembered by the community for her long tenure as a school bus driver and 45-year membership in the VFW and Eagles organizations. A fan of gardening and sports, she could often be found in summer months tending to her sweet peas and nasturtiums or listening to a Mariners game. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Brown; her children, Donald Shultz, Lyla Grayson (Richard) and Dawna Donohue (Paul); grandchildren, Angela Davis (Dan), Bonnie Heron (Jeremy), Annie Shultz and Kalyn Brady (Michael); great-grandchildren, Zachary Vassar, Grace Vassar, Silas Shultz, Harrington Brady and Emerson Brady; and long-time friend Bridgett Dowies. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at Mills and Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Sound HomeCare and Hospice.
