Buchanan Michigan, passed away on July 20 2025, in Olympia WA. He was a Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War after serving 22 years in the Military he
finally retired. After his 1st retirement he went on to work at the VA Hospital for another 17 years dedicating his service to other Veterans. We thought he was done then but he went on to drive for Penske Logistics for another 5 years. Three retirements later he still wanted to do something with his spare time. So, he became a delivery driver for Spark. Even though he was such a hard working man he always made time for his family and the thing he enjoyed doing such as: Family vacations, Bowling, Working on cars (all of us kids/grand-kids really needed this), Taking care of his yard, Wood working, and last but not least GAMBLING (And we all know he did A LOT of it)
Once his body and hands finally got tired he had to use his last bit of strength to complete his finally journey home. He left behind his loving wife of 56 years Christine. His four children (Christy, Julie, Wesley and Daphne) his 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
