What a great guy.  He and his friend Ed, and I went fishing on a chartered boat out of Westport about 10 years ago.  Ed, also a Chief, and I fished for hours while Bill got a little sea sick and fed the fishes.  Bill made the claim he never would get ill on a little charter boat.  For years after we would all laugh about that trip.  Bill would laugh the loudest.       Sincere condolences to his family,   Alan Vanell

It is hard to say goodbye to such a good and wonderful friend. He is especially missed at the morning coffee club. We are thankful to have known "The Chief." He will be missed, but know he is at peace.

As days go by I hear the rain and I think he is no longer in pain.  I miss my dad greatly and will remember all the fishing stories,hunting woes, camping, and rv.  He may not have been mister fix it but he was pretty special to me-my dad.
