

Zachary Taylor Heying, age 30, of Tumwater, Washington passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Zachary was born December 5, 1991 to Paul and Wendy Heying in Ft. Irwin, California. He graduated from Timberline High School in Lacey, WA in 2010
Zach was governed by routines. He woke up at the same time everyday, took a 30 minute walk on the same route, and walked his 250 steps at the turn of every hour. Zach loved teriyaki and would eat it everyday if he could. He was a collector and loved playing Pokemon and various other card games. He spent his time watching one of over 500 movies or 90 seasons he owned while coloring or typing. Zach loved all dogs big or small and would love to walk them even if they weren't his own. He enjoyed talking to everyone that happened to be outside. Nobody was a stranger to Zach.
Zach is survived by his grandparents Alan and Maxine Savage and Darlene Heying; his parents Wendy Heying and Paul and Tina Heying; his siblings Tara Heying and Iain Peters, as well as Rory Heying; aunts and uncles Dawn and Dean Haskins, Sid and Deh Savage, John Heying, Anne and Rob Christiansen, Pete and Angie Heying, as well as Tom Heying; and cousins Heath Lape, Danielle Haskins, Dylan and Savannah Haskins, Debbie Taylor, Michael and Becky Taylor, Dustin and Moriah Savage, Eric and Ashley Christiansen, Sean and Jessica Christiansen, Megan Christiansen, Jacia Christiansen, Robert Butcher, and Tyler Butcher.
He is preceded in death by grandfather Donald Heying; aunt Debra Lape; Uncle Ron Lape; and cousin Danielle Christiansen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pioneer Park, 5801 Henderson Blvd SE, Tumwater WA 98501, on 2/12/2022 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drop in and stay as long as you want.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michael's Parish in Olympia on 3/18/2022 at 12:00 p.m.
Donations in his memory can be made to Franciscan Hospice out of Tacoma/ University Place and Joint Animal Services of Thurston County.
