Albert "Al" Joseph Pamplona, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022 at the age 94. Albert was born August 3, 1927 to Louie and Emily Pamplona. He attended Volta Elementary School and graduated from 8th grade as a valedictorian. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Sequeira, on October 13, 1956 and they would have celebrated their 66th anniversary this October.
Albert is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years Mary Lou Pamplona; his son Mark S. Pamplona, his daughter Marla Ann Cardoza (Paul), and one foster daughter Johnnie Lett Berghall. He also leaves behind six grandchildren Jennifer Pamplona Kersey, Anya Pamplona Scott, Emily Pamplona, Cole Cardoza, Justin Cardoza, Jenae Cardoza Cintas and two great grandchildren Nathan and Noah.
Al was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Emily Pamplona, son Keith Pamplona; his brother Junior Pamplona and his sister Barbara Pamplona Sousa; his grandson Brandon Burghall.
Dancing remained his passion through out his life which garnered many trophies. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing and telling jokes, as people who knew him would say.
A recitation of holy rosary will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:30 AM followed by a memorial funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1621 Center Ave., Los Banos, CA 93635.
