Amelia Pena

Mrs. Amelia Peña, age 81 “Entered into Rest” on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at her Turlock residence with her family by her side. Mrs. Peña was born in Indio, CA and has lived in Turlock since 1967. She was a line worker at Banquet Foods for 25 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Amelia Peña is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andres Peña of Turlock; Two Sons – Andrew Peña and his wife Maria of Turlock and Frank Peña and his wife Lisa of Hughson, CA; Four Brothers – Amado Ramirez of Indio, Rudy Ramirez and his wife Gloria of Garden Grove, CA, Henry Ramirez and his wife Haydee of San Jose, CA and Ramon Ramirez and his wife Frances of San Jose; Two Sisters – Josie Terrones and her husband Joe of Indio and Carolina Garcia of Indio; Three Grandchildren – Andy Peña, Christie Peña and Sophia Peña. She was preceded in death by her Son George Peña on Dec. 30, 2000; Brother – Ray Ramirez and Sister – Rachel Ramirez.

Services: Visitation – Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Rosary at 7:00 p.m.,at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA. Funeral Mass – Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave.,Turlock, CA. Internment following the Funeral Mass at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
