Amelia “Amy” May Reynolds, 52 of Newman, was born on a U.S. Military Base where her father was stationed in Turkey. After a three week long hard fought battle with pneumonia, Amy passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, California. For each of these 3-week days, her partner Darrel Rose accompanied Amy. He was there from the moment visiting hours started until the staff had to inform him that it was time to go.
Amy was raised and attended school in Prunedale before ultimately taking up residence in Newman, California for the last 31 years. She lived life to the fullest, always accepting new challenges and embarking on adventures. Her vivacious character, charisma and energy were 2nd to none. She always made her presence known and left a lasting impression on everyone she touched. Being a friend was important to her and if she was yours, you were blessed.
Amy enjoyed shooting darts, pool and firearms, as well as playing cribbage or taking trips to the casino and winning more times than not.
Amy’s heart had been captured by her partner Darrel Rose who in turn surrendered his to her from their first moment together until her untimely passing. Her soul however belonged to her two sons as her world revolved around them. She was also the type of neighbor who mowed your lawn every time she mowed her own. She also never stopped giving the tightest and warmest hugs ever received.
Amy is survived by her partner Darrel Rose of Gustine, her two sons Frank Reynolds Jr. of San Leandro and Robert Crowley of Turlock. Her Mother Francisca “Gabby” Geisler and Brother Bobby Geisler both of Prunedale.
Amy is preceded in death by her father Robert Geisler and her brother Richard Geisler.
