Anselmo Sousa

Anselmo Sousa, age 84, of Turlock, California passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his Family, on Monday, October 3, 2022. Anselmo was born July 8, 1938 in Santo Amaro, Velas, São Jorge, Açores to Francisca Angelina Costa and Manuel Alfredo Sousa.

Anselmo is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Odette Maria Sousa and his daughter Annabell Sousa both of Turlock; his brother Luis Sousa of Turlock and his two sisters Otilia Alves of Half Moon Bay and Lijia Cabral of Santa Clara; Anselmo also leaves behind his granddaughter Melody Maldonado and his grandson Samuel Maldonado to honor his memory.

Anselmo was preceded in death by his father Manuel Alfredo Sousa and his mother Francisca Angelina Costa; his brother Augusto Sousa; his brother Manuel Sousa; his brother Antonio Sousa; his brother Albert Sousa and his brother Elias Sousa.

Anselmo was a member of P.F.S.A where he also served as president.
