Antonio Toste Ferreira

Mr. Antonio Toste Ferreira also known by “Tombado”, entered into rest Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Chowchilla, California. He was 78 years old and was born in Vila de São Sebastião, Terceira, Azores.

Mr. Ferreira is survived by His Son- Raymond Rocha Ferreira and his wife Chelsie of Hilmar, CA. Two Daughters- Angelina Ferreira Arteaga of Chowchilla, and Elizabete Ferreira Bockhop and her husband Troy of Chowchilla. Sister- Maria de Fatima Toste Ferreira of Vila de São Sebastião, Terceira, Azores. Brother – José Toste Ferreira of Tulare. Brothers-in-Law Manuel Soares and his wife Maria of Hilmar, and Alvarino Soares and his wife Fernanda of Turlock.

Seven Grandchildren- Patrick Arteaga, Cristina Arteaga, Vanessa Arteaga, Anthony Ferreira, Eric Ferreira, Shelby Ferreira, Tyler Bockhop. Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Antonio Toste Ferreira was Preceded in Death by his Wife- Durvalina R. Ferreira, 2004, Daughter- Raelyn Ferreira in 2002, and a Grandson - Parker Bockhop in 2007.

He was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Casa dos Açôres, both of Hilmar, CA.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA.

Vigil & and Rosary- at 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock.

Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Friday, February 6, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Ave., Hilmar, California

Internment – Following the Funeral Mass to North Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Rd., Hilmar, CA.
