Carolyn J. Virgo

Carolyn was born in Turlock, CA on April 3rd, 1941 to Vern and Hazel Pierce. She graduated from Hilmar High School, was a member of the Lutheran Church in Hilmar, and was very active in 4H and PTA while her three children were in school. Carolyn attended beauty college and worked for many years at Merquin Elementary School.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Lloyd Virgo of 53 years, daughter Lisa (Troy) Goiburn of Hilmar; son Keith (Kimberly) Virgo of Hilmar; daughter Cindy (Dave) of Shattock, OK.; brother Sam (Lynn) Pierce of Hilmar; sister Colleen Mode of Turlock; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Hazel Pierce and brother Rodney Pierce.

Services: Visitation – Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA. Graveside Service and Interment Friday, September 12, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery, 2872 N. Cemetery Rd., Stevinson.
