With deep sadness we announce that on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, Cheryl Rae Jackson, 62, a vibrant soul known for her infectious laughter and generous heart has passed away. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose spirit touched everyone she met.
Cheryl was born to Maurice and Barbara White on February 4th,1963 in West Covina, California where she grew up to be an outgoing and spirited woman. Cheryl had an undeniable zest for life. She loved shopping—not just for herself, but for the joy it brought to others. Her sense of style was only matched by her sense of humor, always ready with a quick joke or a playful comment that brightened any room.
Beyond her vivacious personality, Cheryl was deeply caring and compassionate. An avid animal lover, she dedicated much of her time to rescuing and supporting animals in need. Her home was often filled with furry friends, each one a testament to her big heart.
Generosity was at the core of who Cheryl was. She gave selflessly and frequently, donating her time and resources to causes close to her heart. Whether it was through charitable acts or everyday kindness, Cheryl made a lasting impact on her community and all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Cheryl leaves behind her beloved husband of 44 years Olin Jackson, her children Shaun Jackson, Chrysolin Jackson, and Barbara Jackson, her grandchildren Chrysdee Pryor, Maurice Pryor, Violet Pryor, Autumn Pryor, and Scarlett Pryor, her parents Maurice and Barbara White, and her siblings Janet Henry, David White, and Vickie Starostka. She was preceded in death by her nephew Shiloh Henry.
Rest in Peace, Cheryl Rae Jackson, you will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her beautiful spirit and the countless ways she made the world a better place.
