The world has gotten a little quieter since Andy left, but anyone who knew him can still hear his laugh, his quick wit, and maybe a few of those unfiltered comments he was famous for.
Stubborn as they come and honest to a fault, Andy lived life on his own terms, and he did it with humor, grit, and a heart bigger than he ever let on.
A hardworking man through and through, Andy believed in showing up, giving your best, and speaking your mind. He was as dependable as the sunrise, even if he’d grumble about it the whole time. His honesty could sting, but you always knew where you stood with him and that was part of what made him so loved.
He had a gambler’s luck and a cook’s curiosity. If he wasn’t watching a good game of football, you’d find him glued to a food show, critiquing the chefs like he was sitting at the judges’ table. And when it came to eating out, there was no question where to go: Center Street Grill was his spot.
A proud fan of the San Francisco Giants and Los Angelas Rams, Andy rarely missed a game, and even when they were down, he never gave up hope.
Andy is survived by his wife, Jeanie Weathers, and his children: Andrea Weathers (Isaac Smith), Tiffany Weathers, and Ryan McShane (Daniell). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lila Martinez-Aguilara, Calista McShane, and Tatum McShane.
His surviving siblings include Larry Weathers, Margaret Miguel, Patty Weathers, Dennis Weathers, Paul Weathers, Donnie Weathers, and Janette Jorge.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Gladys Irene Weathers, and his brother, Steven Weathers.
Though he is now gone, his humor, his honesty, and the unmistakable spark he brought into every room will forever remain in the memories of those who knew him.
A celebration of life for Andy will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12 PM to 4 PM at Ballico Veterans Memorial Building 11305 Ballico Avenue, Ballico, California, 95303.
Andy’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation to Dr. Hundal, his primary care provider, and to the entire Covenant Care Home Health and Hospice Team. Your kindness, support, and compassion during this difficult time brought great comfort to the family and will always be remembered with gratitude.
