Born December 23, 1976, in Gilroy, California, Davide was the son of Luis Oliveira Sr. and Angela Oliveira. He was raised on the family farm in Gustine, California, where he developed a strong Portuguese upbringing rooted in faith, family, hard work, and community. He later made his home in the Hilmar area, where he spent the last 20 years.
Davide was passionate about dairy farming and custom chopping, industries that reflected his love of agriculture. Later in life, his family acquired Stevinson Bar & Grill, where Davide poured his heart and soul into the business. He was the kind of person who welcomed everyone through the door, and before long, strangers became friends. He became known for his secret steak sauce, his quick wit, and his endless stories, some of which may or may not have been entirely true. Davide had a gift for conversation and could talk to anyone, often leaving those around him with a smile and a memorable story.
One of Davide's proudest moments was learning that he was going to be a first-time father to a son. He often spoke of Logan, Emma, and Rylynne and took pride in the people they were becoming. Davide shared a lifelong connection with his siblings, shaped by years of shared experiences, memories, and family traditions. Though life often took them in different directions, they remained an important part of one another's lives. Over the years, they shared many laughs, stories, and moments together, creating memories that will be cherished.
Davide is survived by his son, Logan Oliveira; his daughters, Emma Oliveira and Rylynne Oliveira; his father, Luis Oliveira Sr.; his mother, Angela Oliveira; his sister, Deodete Oliveira-Wolther and her husband, Mason Wolther; his brother, Luis Oliveira Jr.; his sister, Susete Oliveira; his baptismal godmother, Maria Oliveira; his confirmation godparents, Luis and Rosalie Agueda; his godson, Adam Cardoso; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his baptismal godfather, José "Joe" Militão Oliveira; his paternal grandfather, José Borges Oliveira; his paternal grandmother, Ana Margarida Bettencourt Oliveira; his maternal grandfather, Mario Cardoso; and his maternal grandmother, Maria Cardoso.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main Street, Turlock, California 95380.
The Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Avenue, Hilmar, California 95324, followed by the Committal Service at N. Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California 95324.
