Deborah Manning

Deborah was a cherished soul whose creativity, warmth, and humor touched the lives of everyone she met. A talented artist and gifted writer, Deborah painted the world with vibrant color—both literally and figuratively—and leaves behind a legacy as rich and joyful as the art she so lovingly created.

Born in Ceres, California to Carlos and Esther Perez, Deborah’s life was a beautiful blend of passion and compassion. She had an uncanny ability to see beauty in the everyday things, and a storyteller’s knack for capturing it in words. She also had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. If one was in reach, she was probably lavishing it with as much affection as possible.

Another thing that Deborah had a passion for was music. In her youth, she took her love of music a step further and became a dedicated and spirited band manager. Her keen ear, organizational talent, and unwavering support helped many young musicians find their voice and pursue their dreams.

Deborah was more than her talents; she was a friend to all. Known for her infectious laughter and her genuine kindness, she made everyone feel welcome, understood, and loved. Her home was always open, her advice always honest, and her hugs always healing. She was the kind of person who remembered birthdays, listened deeply, and could make you laugh when you least expected it.

Deborah was also well respected in every circle she entered and beloved by all who knew her. The hard work and dedication she showed to the families she served in her time as a CNA could be nothing short of outstanding, and she showed grace and empathy with everyone she cared for.

Deborah is survived by her son Carlos Thomas Hernandez, her daughter Lucia Camille Hernandez, her granddaughter Esther Hernandez-Rios, her parents Carlos and Esther Perez, and her brothers Daniel Perez and David Perez.
