Livingston, California – Dennis, 77, of Livingston, CA was born to parents Curtis and Edna Long in Tracy, CA. He proudly served his country in the Army and was a combat veteran with 2 tours in Vietnam. After Vietnam, he returned to his job at LOF and retired after 51 years at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Linda Catherine Long and his children, Tracy (Aaron) Crane, Daniel (Stacey) Long, Caroline (Paul) Dosa, and Robert Gonzalez as well as 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers and preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Dennis loved his A’s and 49ers. He enjoyed bowling and teasing everyone. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Turlock. Dennis loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, telling jokes, and laughing - he could ignite a whole room in laughter! He will be missed greatly by everyone who was blessed to know him.
