Dionisio Da Silva Espinola

Dionisio Da Silva Espinola, age 69, of Hilmar, California passed away at his home, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Dionisio was born in Ribeirinha, Graciosa, Açores to Vidalina Da Silva and Anibal Espinola.

Dionisio is survived by his wife of 44 years, Albertina Espinola of Hilmar, his children, Eugenia Mendoza (Michael) of Livingston, Christina Nunes (Richard) of Turlock and Dennis Espinola (Michelle) of Hilmar. Dionisio is also survived by his brother Manuel Espinola (Terry) of Hilmar, his sister Maria Vasconcelos (Manuel) of Los Banos and his sister-in-law Valentina Espinola of Hilmar. Dionisio leaves behind his grandchildren, Hailey, RayLynn and Brooklyn Mendoza, Jake, Avery and Aubrey Nunes, Dalynda and Derrick Espinola along with many nieces and nephews to honor his memory.

Dionisio was preceded in death by his father Anibal Espinola, his mother Vidalina Da Silva, his brother Firmilindo Espinola and his stepfather Albertino Silva.

Dionisio was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar, CA.

A visitation for Dionisio will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will occur Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Avenue, Hilmar, CA 95324.

Committal Service will occur Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar,, CA 95324.

Serving, as pallbearers are Dennis Espinola, Richard Nunes, Jake Nunes, Michael Mendoza, Paul Espinola, Junior Espinola, Carlos Espinola and Nelson Fernandes.
