Ernesto is survived by: daughters Cheyenne, Faith and Abigail Moreira; father Jose Moreira of Norte Grande, São Jorge, Açores; mother Jesualda Moreira of Norte Grande, São Jorge, Açores; brother Jose Moreira (Alicia Huerta) of Lodi; uncle Mozarte Matos of El Nido; uncle Tony Matos of Tracy; uncle Amaro Matos of Riverdale; uncle Abilio Moreira ; uncle Francisco Moreira; uncle Fernando Moreira; uncle Antonio Moreira all of Norte Grande, Açores; aunt Maria Silveira of Galt; aunt Laurencia Santos of Atwater; aunt Eugenia Neves of Norte Grande, São Açores; aunt Maria Moreira of Terceira, Açores; aunt Susana Moreira; aunt Orlanda Moreira of Graciosa, Açores; and Ernesto's girlfriend Krista Claterbuck.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents; six uncles; his aunt Maria Pedroso; and Saozinha Moreira.

Services for Ernesto Matos Moreira are in the care of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (FD 504) in Turlock, California.
