Filomena Teixeira Cardoso, age 76, of Turlock, California passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was born November 18, 1941 in Ribeira Seca, São Jorge, Açores to Rosa Guilhermina and João Teixeira da Luz.
Filomena is survived by: son Paul Cardoso (Diana) of Turlock; daughter Anabella Millan (Ventura) of Atwater; daughter Paula DiFeo (Arthur) of Vermont; and her grandchildren Crystal and Derek Millan.
She was preceded in death by her husband João Morris Cardoso in 2016 as well as her parents João Teixeira da Luz and Rosa Guilhermina.
Mrs. Cardoso was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A visitation for Mrs. Filomena Teixeira Cardoso will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A recitation of the rosary followed by a funeral mass will occur at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church: 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. She will be laid to rest following the services at Turlock Memorial Park: 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
