Frances "Kika" Castillo

July 15, 1934 – October 7, 2015

Mrs. Frances Castillo entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday October 7th 2015 at Emanuel Medical Center. She was 81 yrs. old and a Native of Stockton. Kika was a long time resident of Delhi, since 1965 and loved her community dearly. She was a Retired Cannery worker for 43 yrs. for the Local 748, working locally in Merced, Patterson and Modesto. Homemaker also, she loved cooking, especially Large Sunday meals and Holidays for her family and friends, and enjoyed the company, friendship and love of her family and friends and watching Sports such as Baseball and Football. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose N Castillo in 1980, her parents Cruz Figueroa Ruiz and Antonio Savedra. She leaves behind her son Joe Castillo and his spouse Jose Rincon from Alhambra CA, her daughter Terri Castillo of Delhi and her extended family Diana Saltos of Delhi, Manuel Saltos and Brenda Barriga and their children Cassandra, Alexia and Eva all of Delhi, George Saltos and Lisa Estrada of Washington.

Services: Visitation-2:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 West main St., Turlock, California, with a Vigil & Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, California.

A Christian Burial will take place after the mass at Evergreen Memorial Park, 1480 B. St., Merced, California.
