Frances Elaine Taylor, age 80, of Hughson, California, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. Born October 27, 1945, in Wister, Oklahoma, Frances lived a life filled with love, creativity, and cherished friendships.
Frances had a gift for quilting and found great joy in creating beautiful quilts and table runners. Every piece she made was crafted with care and love, becoming a treasured keepsake for family and friends. Her talent and generosity will continue to be remembered each time one of her handmade creations is wrapped around a loved one or displayed in a home.
After retirement, Frances and her beloved husband, Gary, embraced one of life's greatest pleasures, traveling together. They loved exploring new places, making memories, and sharing adventures until Gary's passing. Those years together on the road became some of their happiest memories.
Frances also found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She treasured card days with her dear friends, Georganna and Nora, where laughter, conversation, and friendship were always plentiful. Anyone who knew Frances also knew about her fondness for frogs. Whether in decorations, collectibles, or little keepsakes, frogs became one of her signature joys and reflected her fun-loving spirit.
Above all, Frances loved her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, creativity, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
Frances is survived by her sons, Daniel Ward and Victor Ward; her brothers, Larry Bell and David Bell; her grandchildren, Kayla Ward, Jonathan Ward, Melissa Ward Pariset, Brandon Ward, Dylan Taylor, James Steele, and Sandie Steele; and her step-sons, Darrell Taylor, Dwayne Taylor, and Gary Taylor Jr. She also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Arthur Taylor Sr.; her father, Alfred David Bell Cimaron; and her mother, Ora Bonida Baker Howe.
While her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her, her family finds comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved Gary.
Frances will be remembered for the warmth she shared, the beauty she created with every quilt, the joy she found in life's adventures, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
