Mr. Francisco Alamos Silveira, age 69 “Entered into Rest” on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at his residence in Crows Landing, CA. Mr. Silveira was born in Portal, São Jorge, Azores and immigrated to California in 1970 and has lived in Crows Landing for 42 years. He was a Self Employed Dairyman for 35 years. Francisco Silveira is survived by his wife Elia Fontes Silveira of Crows Landing and they were married for 42 years. One Son – Joe Silveira of Crows Landing, Daughter – Angelina Silveira Robinson and her husband Patrick Robinson of Ceres, CA, Brother – Jose Silveira and his wife Maria Silveira of Turlock and Three Sisters – Maria Nunes of Portugal, Aldora Silveira of Ribeira Seca, São Jorge, Azores and Lourdes Matos and her husband Honorato Matos of Turlock, Two Granddaughters – Macie and Mya Robinson of Ceres. He is preceded in death by: His Parents – João and Maria Angelina Silveira, Three Brothers – João Damascena Silveira, Antonio Silveira and Manuel Rogerio Silveira. Mr. Silveira was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock and he loved Portuguese Bullfights and Dancing.

Services are scheduled as follows: Visitation – Thursday, November 29th from 2-8 PM and Rosary, 7 PM at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, November 30th 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, CA followed by Internment at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
