Mr. João M. Cardoso, entered into rest Thursday March 17, 2016 in Modesto, California surrounded by his family, he was 84 years old and was born in São Jorge, Açôres. Mr. Cardoso is survived by his wife Filomena T. Cardoso of Turlock, Ca. Son- Paul J. Cardoso and wife Diana of Turlock, 2 Daughters- Anabela and husband Ventura Millan of Atwater, Paula and her husband Arthur Difeo of Hartland, Vt. 2 Brothers- Isalino Cardoso of Brasil, Nicolau Cardoso of Turlock, 2 Sisters- Rosa M. Azevedo of Manteca, & Mecia Sousa of Hilmar. 2 Grandchildren- Crystal Millan & Derek Millan

Mr. Cordoso was preceded in death by his parents Julio and Maria Cardoso, his brother- Antonio M. Cardoso and one Sister- Laudelina Matias de Sousa.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 6:00 PM, Sunday March 27, 2016 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California. Funeral Service- 10:00 AM, Monday March 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602, S. Walnut Rd. Turlock. Mr.Cardoso will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., California.
