Joaquin Richard Rocha

Joaquin Richard Rocha, aged 96, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Turlock, CA.

Mr. Rocha was born in Santa Nella (Volta) and raised in the Gustine-Newman area. He was a dairyman all his life, having his own dairy and then working at other local dairies before retiring.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Gustine Seniors. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Core in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marianne Rocha, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his son Paul Rocha (Brenda); daughter- Joanne Teem (Peter), Four grandchildren; Heather (Derek) Johnson, Courtney and Kirk Rocha and Joshua Teem; Two great grandchildren; Braydon and Haylee Johnson.

Services: Visitation- 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday April 3, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, with vigil and Rosary at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock. Mr. Rocha will be laid in repose at Turlock Memorial Park 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. California.
