He was 56 years old and was born in Santa Barbara, Terceira, Azores. John is survived by; his wife Mrs. Nilia N. Costa of Half Moon Bay.One son Joe H. Costa of Half Moon Bay, CA. Two Sisters; Lourdes M. Costa, & Licia M. Costa and her husband Frank Costa, all of Half Moon Bay.
Mr. Costa was a member of Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Church of Half Moon Bay, I.D.E.S., Hall of Half Moon Bay, and Portuguese Culture Center of Half Moon Bay.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Lopes Costa & Maria Mendes.

Funeral Mass; 11:00 AM, Friday, Ocotber 4, 2013, at Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Church, 400 Church St., Half Moon Bay.
The Internment will follow the Funeral Mass to Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Cemetery, 980 Miramontes Ave., Half Moon Bay, CA.
