José is survived by: son José Henrique Vieira (Sandra) of Valley Springs; son Rui Alberto Vieira of Escalon; son Jorge Manuel Vieira (Ana) of Fall River, Massachusetts; son John Maria Vieira of Modesto; daughter Ana Maria Baptista (Manuel) of Escalon; daughter Laura da Conceição Ourique (Fernando) of Buhl, Idaho; daughter Diana Ponte (Ramiro) of Fall River, Massachusetts. Mr. Vieira also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren to honor his memory.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria O. Vieira, on September 9, 2016 as well as his parents.
José was a dedicated parishioner of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ripon, California.
A visitation for Mr. José Vieira will occur from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A recitation of the rosary will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church: 19399 CA-120, Ripon, California. There will be a funeral mass at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest following the service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery: 17871 Carrolton Road, Escalon, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Paul Baptista, Pedro Baptista, Fernando Ourique, Steve Ponte, Tony Vieira, Michael Vieira, and Ryan Vieira.
