Julia S Barreiro

She was born in Bustos, Portugal and came to California with her late husband Arnaldo Barreiro in 1959 and settled in San Pablo and lived there for 13 years before moving to San Leandro and resided there for 30 years then moved to Tracy and has lived in Tracy for the past 10 years.

Mrs. Barreiro was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

Julia S. Barreiro is survived by her son Jonine C. Barreiro and his wife Marie B. Kelly Barreiro of Turlock and daughter Benilde Carvalheira and her husband Felicissimo Carvalheira of Tracy, 4 Grandchildren - Jean Vargas, Maria Barreiro, Alcino Carvalheira and Helder Carvalheira , 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnaldo Barreiro on May 28, 2008.

Services:

Visitation will be on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA and a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at the Chapel.

Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy. After the Funeral Mass, Burial will be at Tracy Public Cemetery, 600 Schulte Rd., Tracy, CA.
