Born on April 21, 1943, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Larry spent much of his life in California and later made his home in Turlock. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and carried a strong sense of independence throughout his life.
Larry had an appreciation for the cowboy lifestyle and enjoyed many of the things that reflected that spirit. He had a lifelong interest in motorcycles, automobiles, and the open road. He also enjoyed spending time with friends at the VFW, where he shared stories and camaraderie with fellow veterans and members of the community.
Larry is survived by his son, Kenneth Eugene Denney; his daughter, Karry Ann Denney Nichols (Jeff); his sisters, Donna Denney Van Ness and Marlene Denney Macomber; his grandsons, Brandon Hilton (Sarah) and Tyler Reich (Karli); his granddaughter, Ashlee Seawell (Dustin); and his great-grandchildren, Kason Hilton, Kanon Hilton, Kohen Hilton, Kapri Hilton, Jaxon Seawell, Avilynn Seawell, Titan Reich, and Talon Reich.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denice Lynn Denney Hilton; his father, Kenneth Roy Denney; his mother, Sarah Ann Gladys Denney; and his sister, Blanche Denney Smith.
Larry will be remembered by his family, friends, and all those who knew him throughout the years. His memory remains in the lives of those he leaves behind.
