Laudelina R. Alves, age 84, of Turlock, California passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Laudelina was born March 23, 1937 in Vila Nova, Terceira, Açores to Serafin Ferreira da Rocha and Belmira Augusta Pimentel.
Laudelina is survived by her sons João Alves (Sherrie) of Turlock and Jorge Alves (Darlene) of Turlock; her grandchildren Kristen Pouliot, Natasha Brahic, Zachary Alves, Mackenzie Alves, Dominick Alves, her great grandchildren Peyton Brahic, Paige Brahic, Paisley Brahic, Ace Dutra and Maverick Pouliot. She is preceded in death by her husband João Martins Alves who passed away March 31, 1998
A visitation for Laudelina will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA.
The Recitation of the Rosary and Mass will occur Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, CA followed by the committal service at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony Sousa, Paul Machado, Tony Teixeira, Jorge Gabriel, Sergio Rocha and John Valadão.
