Lillie Mae Vowell, age 93, of Modesto, California passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born April 11, 1925 to Allie and Charlie Scroggins.

Lillie is survived by: son Ed Vowell (Carla) of Modesto; daughter Brenda Archaletta of Winton; daughter Kathy Zimzorse (Pete) of Stockton; sister Betty Neal of Berry, Alabama. Mrs. Vowell also leaves behind eleven grandchildren as well as many great and great-great-grandchildren to honor her memory.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Wayne Vowell in 2003; son Gary; daughters Sherry, Earlene, and Barbara; four brothers; two sisters; and her parents.

A funeral service will be held for Lillie Mae Vowell at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. She will be laid to rest following the service at Lakewood Memorial Park: 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California.
