Mr. Lonnie L. Correia entered into rest on July 16, 2014 at U. C. Irvine Health Care, Irvine, California, surounded by his wife and children. He was 59 years old and was born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores. In the past 22 years he has resided in Hilmar, California.

Mr. Correia is survived by his wife Angie C. Correia of Hilmar. 2 Sons- Bryan J. Correia and his wife Lauren of Manteca,Cristopher M. Correia of Hilmar.1 Daughter- Kristy M. Vickerman and her husband David of New Jersey. 1 Granddaughter Lila Caroline Vickerman of New Jersey. His Mother Maria Zelia Howe and her husband Doctor Donald Howe of Modesto. His Mother-in-Law- Laurinda Cunha of Hilmar, CA.

Lonnie was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar, and Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock.

He was a past president of Festa of Holy Spirit of Manteca,CA, and also was a member of Grand Knights of Columbus of Our Lady of Assumption, Turlock.

Vigil & Rosary; 6:30 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock, CA.

Funeral Mass; 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock, CA. Burial Following the Mass at North Hilmar District Cemetery, 8710 N. Tegner Ave., Hilmar, CA.
