The Gray family left Oklahoma when Margie was approximately 13 years old, for greater opportunities in California.
She met the man she would marry in her teens at a church they attended in Merced, CA. They were married on October 30th, Rae Denise their first child was born July 30th, followed by Danni Allen two years later in August and Gregory Brian almost five years later in May. Margie was always a hard working mother. Not only did she excel but enjoyed her positions. She worked in the medical field for Santa Clara Medical Center and mental health at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA in the 1960's.
In 1968 she began working for Payless Drugs in San Jose and spent her later years in retail nurseries, which she loved.
Throughout the years she and Raymond pastored churches, traveling and ministering to a variety of different churches in California. This was their calling and they greatly enjoyed ministering.
On February 13th, 2014 Margie arrived in Long Beach, CA where she would spend the last four years and nine months of her life with her son Dan and his partner, Erik.
She left us on November 12th, 2018 at 9:00a.m. with her daughter Denise at her bedside, only two months shy of her 88th birthday.
Margie is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, her husband Raymond of 56 years, her first born grandson Sean Douglas Rhinehart, her youngest sister Vesta Lee, Niece Marla Hagerty, Nephews Richard Jones and Carrey Coffield.
