Mrs. Maria O. Goulart passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Atwater, California. She was 86 years old and was born in Madalena, Pico, Azores. Maria is survived by her daughters: Madalena (Constantino) Xavier of Atwater, and Eduina Garcia of San Jose. 3 grandchildren: Elsa and Paul Pacheco of San Jose, Paulgeorge and Kathleen Xavier of Livingston and David & Melissa Xavier of Oakdale. 7 Great Grandchildren: Samantha and Ashley Pacheco, Lucas, Ava, Austin and Roman Xavier. Maria is also survived by her 4 sisters: Eduina Caetano, and Virginia Garcia of San Jose, Zulmira Lourenco of Santa Clara, and Maria Silva of Pico Azores. Brother:Manuel Goulart of San Jose. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jose Goulart; parents: Manuel & Ana Goulart, son-in-law: Vital Garcia,3 sisters: Coltilde Caetano, Regina Goulart, and Fernanda Vargas. 3 brothers: Julio Goulart, Antonio Goulart, and Jose Goulart.

Services: Visitation- 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias: 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Rosary and Funeral Mass-10:00 AM, Friday, May 12, 2017 at Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 330 Franci St., Livingston, California.

Maria will be laid to rest at Winton Cemetery District: 7651 Almond Ave. Winton, California.
