Maria is survived by; son Manuel Maciel or Denair; son Elvis Maciel (Misti) of Denair; son Jerry Maciel of Denair; daughter Maria C. Dias (Antonio) of Denair; brother Verginio Carvalho of Canada; brother Jose Carvalho of Azores; brother Antonio Carvalho of Azores; grandchild Raul Dias; grandchild Anthony Maciel; grandchild Khourtnii Maciel; grandchild D'Mitri Maciel; grandchild Cadence Maciel; grandchild Berea Maciel; grandchild Brittany Jordao; grandchild Kijhona Maciel; great grandchild Everleigh Lasater; great grandchild Jhournee Smith; great grandchild Aviannah Lasater; and great grandchild Zayden Maciel.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California.

Maria was preceded in death her husband Jose D. Maciel on April 30th, 2010, Joe Maciel on August 15th, 2016, her son Antonio Maciel, her sister Maria Lea Silveira and her parents.

A visitation for Maria will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.

A Recitation of the Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will occur at 12:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California.

A Committal Service will follow at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.

Serving as pallbearers are: Raul Dias, Anthony Maciel, D'Mitri Maciel, Cadence Maciel, Berea Maciel, Khourtnii Maciel, Brittany Maciel and Kijhona Maciel.
